Overview
The Profile Roof Fan has been developed to reduce the installation costs of roof mounted units by eliminating the need for an upstand. They are simple to install, require no additional flashing and are available in most metal-deck profiles. There are 2 sizes in the range and these fans are available with axial flow and backward-curved centrifugal impellers.

Design
The Profile Roof fan has a lightweight but sturdy construction. It has been designed for easy installation, simply cut a hole in the roof and fix the unit with tek-screws. It removes the need for costly upstands and flashing. Inlet spigots are available for ducted installations. The unit fits onto most metal-deck profiles and can be mounted at angles up to 30°C.
Weather Proof
To weather proof simply add a bead of silicone around metal deck and roof.
Protection
Internal Thermal Contacts as standard.
Testing
All units are tested to BS848:Part 1 1980 (airside performance) and BS848:Part 2, 1985 (sound performance).
Specification
Construction
The cowl, base and inlet spigot are all made from UV-stabilised plastic, steel components and have a corrosion resistant finish. The Profile Rood fan Includes either axial flow or backward-curved centrifugal impellers as needed.
Motor
The fans are built with external rotor, squirrel cage induction motors with sealed for life ball bearings. The motor requires an electricity supply of 230V, single-phase, 50/60Hz.
Control
These units are speed-controllable.
