Elta Fans Asia launches sustainable, long-cased axial fan

Elta Fans Asia has recently expanded its extract fan offering by introducing a revolutionised long-cased axial fan, the Revolution SLC EC.
Capable of lowering energy costs and shortening installation times, the new axial fan is designed for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
“We wanted to provide a high performance, energy efficient fan that was able to be used in a number of applications,” commented David Millward, Elta Group’s Product Manager.
The new fan is built with an EC motor which uses significantly less energy than its AC motor predecessors, capable of saving end users up to 20% of energy costs.
Contractors installing the product will also benefit from the new design which has eliminated the need for a mains powered speed controller, making for a quicker and easier install.
“The new range is capable of being used in temperatures up to 60°C, is available in sizes from 315mm to 630mm, and can reach air volume flow rates of up to 4.159m³/s. It is extremely versatile.”
“As well as the performance aspects the Revolution SLC EC is designed with the future in mind. It has been future-proofed in anticipation of stricter energy efficiency regulations across the globe,” continued Millward.
As Elta Fans Asia moves its focus towards sustainability and providing sustainable air movement products to the Asia market, the addition of the Revolution SLC EC to its range has complimented their efforts.
The Revolution SLC EC’s lower overall running time and adjustable fan speeds have made it an energy efficient, environmentally friendly solution that can aid in lowering overall CO2 emissions and although the focus has been placed on the sustainability of the product, performance has not been compromised.
“By eliminating the need for a mains powered fan speed controller, the Revolution SLC EC provides optimum ventilation without the crippling running costs,” concluded Millward
