Elta Fans Asia adhere to tough UK standards

Building on its success in South East Asia, Elta Fans has now set its sights on extending its reach throughout the continent.

Elta Fans Asia has targeted India for its next expansion into Asia with the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Kolkata at the beginning of 2018. The presence of a new sales team across India has already significantly increased Elta Fans’ presence in the Asia market.

“Our aim is to expand our reach across the continent through both investment and development. There is huge potential in the Asia market and Elta Fans has many products to satisfy the increasing demand for sustainable and energy-saving air movement and air quality products”, commented Elta Fans Asia CEO, Nick Heaton.

Elta Fans Asia has set its focus on providing products that align with the strict quality and performance standards required in the Elta Group’s UK facilities.

“The Elta Group testing facility in the UK is accredited by the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA), allowing for products to be tested in accordance with ISO 5801. The products we are manufacturing in our Asia factories are of the same high quality and align with these third party accreditations”, continued Heaton

Since its establishment, the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) has become a respected and acknowledged body in the HVAC industry throughout South East Asia and India. It is now a popular requirement for engineers and architects when choosing products for residential, commercial and industrial projects in these regions.

“AMCA’s Certified Ratings Program is recognised across all industrialised regions and when looking at AMCA approved technologies, you are ensured that all testing is reliable and accurate”, commented Heaton.

“Back in the 1980’s Elta Fans was one of the first fan manufacturers to meet the new British testing standards. Since then the company has remained committed to these standards and is fully compliant to ERP regulations”
